 Invest in ME are pleased to announce the collaboration with
ME
Research UK on ME Awareness Month 2007. Both IiME and ME Research UK will be
organising conferences and working together to support events across the UK and abroad.
The theme will be
Energising ME Awareness.
These conferences will be
key elements of ME Awareness Month 2007 — an important time for people with ME
globally which is the reason ME Research UK and Invest in ME will be working
together to “energise ME awareness” over the whole of May 2007, opening and
closing it with events to remember.

We hope the cooperation will highlight the need for publicly funded biomedical
research which will lead to treatment and a cure for this devastating illness -
an illness which is about 5 times more common in the UK than HIV/AIDS.
