Professor Hooper's accompanying letter setting out his particular concerns to Sir Michael is already in the public domain (click here). Sir Michael declined either to look at the document or to enter into any correspondence about ME/CFS and he sent the bound document straight back to Professor Hooper. Sir Michael's dismissive and casual response demonstrates not only NICE's indifference but another failure of NICE to engage with the evidence. Professor Hooper is in the process of replying to Sir Michael and this will be made public in due course.
