Spare a Thought for ME this Christmas
|
There is a light-hearted theme to this winter page but it is here also to
ask for a thought to be spared whenever giving presents - see
Ways to Help This Christmas (below). As we look
ahead let's keep the hope that the New Year will bring promising news for all ME
sufferers and their carers/parents. Let's hope that we are
on the road to getting the funding for biomedical research which is the
only way a cure is going to be found for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. |

If the snow
flakes annoy you then we apologise. They are transitory - something
we hope and believe will be the case for ME in the future.
Happy Christmas from all at Invest in ME. |
Ways to Help this Christmas
Recent
research has shown that £1.2 BILLION
(no misquote - one point two BILLION pounds) is wasted each Christmas on
unwanted presents. Apparently people spend, on average, £33 each by
panic buying last-minute gifts.
So here's a couple of ideas to avoid the waste and
put that money to a good cause.
Why
not give a present to ME this Christmas? There are many ways possible -
some suggestions are made below.
