How to Help Invest in
ME - Support ME Awareness 
Invest in ME is dedicated to raising awareness of the
urgent need for
biomedical research into ME/CFS and is involved in organising events which will
educate, publicise, lobby and raise funds for biomedical research
into ME. We seek a national/international strategy of biomedical research
into ME.
Invest in ME was created by parents of children
with ME/CFS or sufferers of ME/CFS.
Everyone involved with Invest in ME is a volunteer - there are no salaried staff
and no funds are used for any purposes other than to support our objectives. Our aim is to raise
money which goes to directly to biomedical research - either to organise
our conferences, produce educational material, to put towards campaign work for
ME/CFS or to go directly to research and projects devoted to biomedical research
- such as our proposal for an examination and research facility in Norfolk, UK (click
here).

Invest in ME began the
conferences in 2006 and they are now an annual event. The conferences
attract some of the most
renowned speakers from all over the world and are valuable sources of education
and information for healthcare professionals,
doctors, nurses, researchers, ME support groups and people with ME and enable
an excellent insight into ME research and the issues currently facing the
healthcare and ME patient communities. |
